Let's think of a memorable moment from the second annual Battle of the Bulge. How about a harder question: let's think of a moment that wasn't memorable during that incredible day. From start to finish, there was nothing dull about that battle, even if it was lacking tanks this year. But if I had to pick the most memorable event of the day, I would easily go with the chance to be the German medic. Just seeing the faces of those guys I wiped clean (some of those faces a little too frequent) made my day a little more worth it in the end. Sure I could barely walk the next day, but the energy I spent during that miraculous day could not, and will not, be spent better.
