I completely agree. I have always hated it when people do this and they don't even think twice about it. I think a lot of people assume the other side is doing it, too, so why shouldn't I? Giving information on locations and numbers is just as damaging to the opposition as wiping a hit and staying in the game. Personally, I have never done "slide cheating" and never will. I think most people don't make a big deal out of it because they'd rather not be hassled by getting into an argument with someone over whether or not it is cheating and/or acceptable and just let it slide. Just my 2 cents.

I hate to admit that I have done this on a few occasions. Never to point out another players position, but I will encourage my guys to push forward and give a status update to whoever is CO for our team sometimes. Like if I am on a mission and I get shot out, I'll tell the CO that I am out, and what the status of the mission is. It seems like small stuff, but if he didn't have that information it could be game changing, so it is big stuff after all. Its just so darn hard to walk silently off the field after I have done so much work! haha. But hey, that is what integrity is all about, and my team prides ourselves on integrity, so I'll have to try harder.
